As of August 22nd, 2026, the US Federal Government has imposed a 50% tariff (Section 338 9903.03.14) in addition to the 10% tariff (Section 301) on all Canadian goods imported to the US.   This combined tariff  of 60% is strictly enforced by US Customs and must be prepaid in Canada before any goods are shipped to the US.  This has a crushing effect on small businesses like ours as we simply can’t absorb the 60% tariff.  Unfortunately, this 60% tariff will be applied at checkout for US customers only. We will continue to offer free shipping to Canada and the US.

We are currently trying to establish a way forward in terms of being able to offer our products to our customers in the US at affordable pricing. However, until the tariffs are eliminated or reduced it will be extremely challenging. We will continually update the tariff rate up or down as dictated by the US Federal Government and US Customs.
